This museum is a facility with the theme of "Seto Sometsuke", a traditional pottery technique.
Here, we introduce the culture of pottery such as "Seto Sometsuke", display work scenes such as potter's wheel and painting, and hold special exhibitions such as masterpieces. In addition, the only old kiln in the city (Kogama: a climbing kiln designated as a cultural property by the city) is preserved and open to the public.
As a facility where you can learn about Seto's traditional industries, we accept many elementary school group tours (about 30 people).
Sometsuke is, in a broad sense, “blue and white vessel”. Here we will introduce
about Seto Sometsuke.
There are two two-story buildings and a map to the hotel.
Special exhibitions are held in four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
There are small ones that you can experience painting immediately after
visiting the museum, and large ones that are held on the 4th Saturday of
